IODA Launches New User Resource Hub

IODA is excited to announce the release of a new user resource hub to help our community better understand IODA signals and make use of all that IODA has to offer to monitor Internet connectivity. Users will find a curated set of resources from our team. Among them include tutorials, research, glossary terms, repositories, and data sources. Each resource is tagged for specific user community needs.
Some of the new resources the Internet Freedom community can find in our new resource hub include:
- IODA user guides for beginners that summarizes our signals and rapid response protocol
- A new user guide specifically designed for journalists
- Videos from Advocacy Assembly’s Shutdown Academy with closed captioning in Arabic, French, Persian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, and Swahili
- Tutorials from the IODA team of new functionalities
- Multi-stakeholder reports on shutdowns
You will also find several peer-reviewed academic articles for the Internet Measurement research community on passive and active measurements published and presented at premier conferences in the field of Internet Measurements (IMC, PAM, SIGCOMM, FOCI, etc). Such academic literature may also be of interest to the data enthused individuals hailing from the Internet Freedom community. This new content is accessible via our Tooltips by clicking Learn More (see image below) and Resource page. Check out our demo video below of how to filter and search IODA’s new user resource hub.
